FLYING FISH MARINAThe Flying Fish Marina is strategically located in Clarence Town Harbour, Long Island, Bahamas. We have an eighteen (18) slip marina offering 30, 50 & 100 amp power, r/o water, provisions store, laundry, showers, fuel dock and a bar & grill.Flying Fish Marina is the perfect stop over for yachts traveling between Florida and the Caribbean, and is also a haven for sportfishing yachts that choose to fish the Southeastern Bahamas. Clarence Town Harbour has a wide entrance and is easy to navigate. Within the harbour water depth is approximately 12 feet MLW on approach to Flying Fish Marina. Controlling depth within marina basin is approximately 8 feet MLW. |
LONG ISLAND Long Island is one of the most scenic of the Bahama Islands, offering two contrasting coastlines. On the western coast, powdery white beaches meet the gentle sound of the sea, and on the eastern coast, rugged, rocky headlands descend suddenly into the ocean. Bountiful deep sea fishing grounds are nearby. Deadman’s Cay Airport is eleven miles North of Clarence Town. Bahamasair has daily flights into Deadman’s Cay from Nassau. CLARENCE TOWN Clarence Town is one of the best kept settlements in the Bahamas. It is the capital of Long Island and is the site of two of Father Jerome’s historical churches. The community of Clarence Town is just a few hundred feet away from Flying Fish Marina. In town there are two native restaurants, two small grocery stores that are fairly well stocked, and the government’s administrative offices, including a Post Office and a Police Station. |
